Taleth

Taleth is one of the major cities of Atsiria, the home of House Ysak.

Taleth is a much smaller and simpler city than Dalphora. Still large enough in its own right, and indeed quite larger than Feldri, it's dwarfed next to its massive sister. Usually seen as the responsible elder of the two, Taleth stabilized as a city many years before Dalphora. The close proximinity of the two cities, divided by only roughly twenty kilometres of clear sand between the two. Taleth has a more subdued atmosphere than Dalphora, and its architecture is extremely streamlined ... though it does have extremely high buildings, some of the largest altitudes in Eire. Taleth's only major official trade is with Dalphora, though it is known to take the cream of the crop from incoming merchant caravans from Korin and North Dentoria as a border tax, selling the goods only within the city and to Dalphora. Since its smaller size doesn't move it close enough to the mountains to enjoy Dalphora's agriculture, it trades heavily with them on friendly terms.

The citizens of Taleth, despite an overall quiet and subdued nature, are surprisingly excitable when something major happens within the city. It also has a very fucntional rumour mill. If one knows how to operate it correctly, they can make the most ridiculous story considered credible fact within a day.
